View Full Version : Lap Times?
Just after a bit of lap time date from as many of you guys as possible to get a wide view of pace at different circuits.
What are your best times on any given circuit, and then what sort of average times are you getting during a race?
go and take a look on mylaps.com. You'll find data from many tracks and many types of bikes on there.

Lap Record Is held by Ben Grindrod. Fast lad! Did a 1.39.??? To be fair that is an unbelievable time for a minitwin.
My PB is a 1.42.897
HTH but remember its a trackday, other people are just there for fun and trackday organisers will boot you out if you are found to be timekeeping :-)
Doesnt stop most people mind..... ;-)

Cadwell Park i think.
It's certainly not a circuit record, but probably just for that series in particular.

Wish I knew my fastest lap of Cadwell, all I have is some trackday pics that indicate[1] around 1m52 for a NC30 and 1m50 for the SV.
But then I'm just playing and not racing.

[1] Catch two pictures at the same point on adjacent laps and you can use the EXIF info to guestimate a laptime, crude, inaccurate and unlikely to ever catch your best times but gives a clue.

We're going to have a few 'pit bitches' at Cadwell so hopefully we'll be able to gauge times by their watches.
Not out to prove anything though, want the bike to leave in the same state it got there. O:)

Me I'd have preferred the bike got rather more messed up and I didn't end up with this memento of my last time there (and caused me to miss the second day of a two day trackday):

The bike I fell off? Nothing has been replaced...

Still the SV got away without a scratch so that's OK ;-)

I'm hoping to achieve a 3m00 :thumleft:
At Cadwell Sam Cox did a 1.39.9 this August then Glyn Davies a 1.39.7 with Bemsee so Grindrods record must be close to falling.
Other records?
