Exiting at my local junction and there was a diesel spill, the car behind me span out but missed both barriers by 10 inches or less. . . . . I didn't.

Rubbish - really need to get my bike sold now!

Only hit my head lightly, but walked away, thank you side airbags!

Ouch.....really bad luck mate. Hope you don't find any sore bits over the next fews days and good luck selling the bike!

Yeah I'm o.k - got a jaffa cake sized bump on my head, and my ear eventually stopped ringing from the air bag in the seat. Other than that just neck is sore.

Already had two broken ribs as my brand new mountain bike had a faulty hydraulic line on the rear brake.

On the bike - i'd have probably noticed the diesel spill but in the car you don't look hard for these things

Not my month. - broken ribs then this - the missus is beside herself.

Thats a bit selfish of her when you are going through such a bad time to be beside herself. Surely she should be beside you!! ;)

Thanks guys - O posted mainly for you all to ogle at the pics, but the sympathy is more than welcome.

A lady who runs a health spa in tonbridge wells stopped and checked if I was o.k (had to kick the door open) and used her recovery to get the car towed and then took me to a hotel and bought me a sugary coffee whilst my missus arrived.


She was an absolute star - kept me chatting so I didn't feel too much shock. Turns out she'd had a blow out before and had a flat phone battery and noone stopped for 15 minutes despite her waving.

I will always stop for a fellow motorist now as I'm a big believer in 'what goes around, comes around'

Sounds like a decent woman, Northampton is lacking in them recently.
