Went over to George White for a spin this morning, started first click as usual rode over no probs.
Quick look around, coffee, went to start the bike, quick rrrrr then nothing as though a flat battery, quick push & zoom, started straight away.
Defo did not leave lights on & even if I had, was only there 40-50 mins so parking light should not drain bat. to that degree should it.
Been home left the bike, been out 3 times, starts 1st touch of the button every time.
Know intermitant fault will be hard to find](*,), anyone an idea where to look & see if I can find something?

very brief trying to turn over, but no guts, then 2nd press of the button nothing as if battery was flat.
Rode all the way home without stopping, just incase.

is it worth checking the charging circuit and battery voltage incase the reg/rec is packing up and taking the battery out too.

Are you sure the battery connections are making good contact? I had a similar issue and cleaned up the battery terminals and connections and no problem since.

i'd check the battery as I had the same problem on mine and in the end a new battery solved the problem

(fingers crossed i haven't just jinxed it - i would have said the old supersticious phrase of touch wood but knew there would be too many smutty comments)

Check the charging system (regrec outputs etc), if the battery was fine in the morning it should have still been fine after a ride, not drained.
If you need any help start a thread or ask on here or search for one of my old threads (or just search) reg/rec failures are common.
