Further to the worst film ever, I thought I would attempt to accentuate the positive:
Cannonball Run
NB. Previously did the same thread on another forum.
Warthog

Battle Royale. Make my spine shiver!
Spiderman

Pulp Fiction.

crazy ! "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" - 1st work isn't spoken for 10 minutes, 2 seconds and then it's by Lee Van Cleef :-) !!! Sergio Leone genius.
"Once Upon a Time in the West"
'looks like we're shy one horse.' ...
Blazing Saddles - Gene Wilder, "But I shoot with this hand."
Life of Brian - Brian's mum "He's a very naughty boy."

What about Cannonball Run 2?
White Lamborghini - no wait its a red Lamborghinin!
No what you mean about CB1 though - the tempo builds with the engine revs and the speed - really addictive 80's movie directing at its best :D
+1 for Saving Private Ryan :D

Mad Max, obviously. Most amazing 15 minutes I'd ever seen.
"And by the time we got there he's just sitting there trying to scream with his face ripped off."

Saving Private Ryan was pretty good.
I also really liked the Nightcrawler in Xmen-2 intro.

Trying to get CB2 on DVD at the moment, looks like it was a US release only. I suspect it's a lot worse than I remember, but the sound of that Lamborghini at the start is worth it alone :)
There is no definitve best opening ever, but Taxi (The scooter run is fantastic.) has to be up there with the best bike related opening sequences.
Tiger 55

Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Spiders! Poison darts! Big rolling ball! Alfred Molina!

I think we have a winner, mmmmmm.... Miura :)
Just thought of another movie - it's not the best intro, but the best entrance of one of the main characters and that's Johhny Depp's entrance at the beginning of Priates of the Carribean.
