Back from America, damn I love that country and it really is the land of opportunity.

Saw an advert for a year long course in motorcycle engineering. Learn everything, suspension, engines, even how to build bikes (think American Chopper etc). SO tempted.....

Now im back at work, back to the job I really don't enjoy being in (jobs ok, industry (IT) is mega boring). Already looking at www.businessforsale.com as a new start in life. My body clocks all out, i've got "air conditioning" throat (ulcers, dry throat etc), im sleepy, sad, and bloody cold.

On the upside, im engaged now, and i've finally, after 8+ years, given up da :smt033 used the holiday as a break, deleted all relevent "suppliers" numbers, and are making a fresh start in life, just need to sort out my career choice now and i guess i'll perk up.

Having to make lunch/dinner also sucks :hackedoff:

Welcome back to Blighty.... and good for you with the smoking.

I did 2 years in the states... really miss it at times.

And now i've just found out im being disciplined for a row I had with a HR person before i went on holiday.

Great, so happy to be home.

Even more time on that website methinks. Might have to find a short term contract job to raise some funding. Least i'll be saving from not buying fags or that other stuff.

Rowing with HR- a very dicey practice indeed. Always be wary of HR. Always!

Congrats on the engagement - I take it you managed to find the right engagement ring in the end :D Hope work gets better - don't need that stress on top of planning a wedding.

Yeah found the one, done one of those online "make your own" jobbies.

Only issue was her fingers have got smaller, or she gave me the wrong ring size so its a little too big (1/2, maybe 1 size, but wearable).

Work stress, plus blues, plus coming home to find my mother who stayed over to look after my pets, ended up killing 5 fish including my 2 koi worth £300 notes, has not led to a happy homecoming and new life start :(

Maybe someone is punishing me for my previous lifestyle? :lol: I can only laugh, I have to..
