Hi all, I am looking for front & rear paddock stands for my 05 pointy.
Any suggestions to make etc, I have seen various makes on test in a bike mag but some needed the swing arm modifying, could do without this.
All advice greatly appreciated, Keith h :D

I have a Micron Super Stand Universal type, with rubber coated box section cups which go under the swing arm, no need for bobbins or swing arm adjustment, easily used by one person as well. - Costs only about £45.00 - money well spent.

Hi Micky, sounds exactly what I need. Did you send for them or can they be ordered from somewhere like HEIN GERICKE.
Cheers , keith h

I've only used a rear paddock stand on my SV and I will check the make tomorrow, we use it for numerous bikes at work with the bike on a lift in order to elevate the rear wheel.

I use bobbins on the SV but we have to use rubber coated cups on some bikes e.g. our DRZ400, the fittings are interchangeable (square peg with knurled knob / lock screw) I can't fault it and don't think it's particularly expensive.
