For sale, my wife's year 2000 SV650. Bargain at £900 or decent offer.

As you can see in the pics, it has a GSXR USD front end (amazing difference in the handling), Two Brothers Racing variable / adjustable bars, carbon front mudguard, green / blue flip paintjob, fairing lowers, R&G crash bungs, road legal end can (which sounds great) and braided front hoses. It also received a reconditioned rear shock about 6000 miles ago. And some anodised bolts.

She has 34,070 miles on the clock and has (last Saturday) been treated to a full service. She got a K&N Air filter, iridium plugs, synthetic oil and filter change, new coolant, new forks seals and fork oil and new coolant. And a good checking over.

Shes taxed for 6 months and has 12 months MOT

In the last 6 months, I've also put on a new rear tyre, new battery and new regulator rectifier.

I've got a stack of receipts (thousand of pounds spent), old MOTs and service history:

The Suzuki service book is stamped at 700 , 5048, 9931, 18381 and 27713 miles (the last being valve clearances, major service, new chian and sprockets).

The bike also has a Datatool system 3 alarm fitted and the fitting certificate. There is also a letter confirming that it has Alphadot.

Included in the sale is a Haynes manual, the original exhaust and a spare fairing panel.

The bike is not perfect and does have some bits I need to tell you about (well, what did you expect for £900!!). There is a crack to the fairing (see pic) which I was told happened when the previous owner lost balancee and leant the bike into a wall. As mentioned, a replacement panel is included in the sale and this could easily be rubbed down and sprayed for not a lot. There are also some stone chips and scratches to the paintwork - nothing major but..... My boot has also rubbed off the paint on part of the lower fairing. Some of the bolts also have rust on them and some of the alloy is no longer perfect due to corrosion. If you give me an email address, I can photograph all of the blemishes and send them if you want.

In the interest of complete honesty, you shoudl also know that the gearchange lever has been repaired (works fine), the crash bungs are very slightly worn down (done before I got them) and the glass on teh clocks has a couple of cracks (which I was told happened when the bike was left out in the freezing weather).

Nearly forgot, the speedo stopped working half way through a quick ride today - hopefully I'll have that sorted before it's sold.

Hopefully you can make out what you need to from the pics. Anything else you want to know, please contact me on 07917 595764. (Bike is less than 10 miles from J11 of M40)

Ideally I want it collected by 5th October or you'll have to wait until 27th October.

That's a good price. Pity I'm not in the market to buy it. I've got an USD front end to fit to my curvy this winter.

Where is the front brake master cyclinder tucked away, I can't see it in the pic

Good luck with the sale

I'd buy this if I knew mine was going to be classed as a write off, the bike looks amazing and has all the stuff on it I wanted on my SV...

Not a surprise with a bike like that going for £900, like I said, I'd have bought it if I knew what was happening with my bike
