Thank Feck It's All Over

Photos... quite a few (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=116102&id=533794676&l=25c354f987)

My faith is restored in the generosity of the general public.
My section cycled over 300 miles to raise cash for The Army Benevolent Fund.
Over 4 legs, we started out on Monday and finished Thursday.

RAF Leeming to Manchester... Manchester City Football Club.
Manchester to Birmingham City Center.
Birmingham to Oxford City Center.
Oxford to Wemberly / ACE Café

The Ace Café had a Harley night and those Guys and lasses dug deep and raised £1143

That plus the other days of collecting money we as a small Sqn managed to raise a total of over £4000.00

So I'm very pleased.

Thank you all.

Richie

pps... just one of many..

if you make a paypal gift to richie1743@hotmail.com then I can transfer it towards the charity.
but I think the cut of time is the last day of the month.
as we'll be handing over an over sized comerdy cheque when all the moneys have been counted.

(we wanted to keep the comerdy cheque as a momento.. IE Treasure.. but have been instructed by the bank to wright the total amount in Non Permanent Pen... as they require it back) ... Times are hard for the HSBC... ;-)

Thank you.
Cheers
Richie.

Some good pics there, good effort, especially those on the mountain bikes.

Was the first cramp heading up to cross the Otley road in the direction of Leed/Bradford airport?
