I am breaking my Sv 650 in black.
It is in great shape apart from forks which are bent. Only 11.000 miles.
All bits are available including the frame with V5, both tyres are almost new and covered just under 200 miles.
I'm in Edmonton, North London.

Ah, i wonder - could I have the gear lever linkage rod, that connects the foot lever to the gear shaft? Mine is bent and it'd be nice to have a straight one (oi, stop sniggering back there)

as Alexc has not replied to any of my posts where I have asked for details and shown interest in purchasing from him - I am now no longer interested.

Why do people do that? advertise items for sale but never reply to interested folk. It's just rude IMO.

Taipan

At no point in this thread is there a reference to an ebay listing.

Most people that advertise items for sale do so on here, so that fellow orgers can get a deal without the hassle of bidding on ebay.

Also the rules of the for sale section state that prices are to be applied to items for sale when advertised.

At no time has Alex confirmed to this rule and he has also been on line since my original request so could have taken the time to reply. A simple "sorry that is no longer for sale" would have been sufficient or actually acknowledging my request would have been nice.

Hi Mate
I was just pointing out that he had stuff on ebay so you might have more success contacting him though there than here? People that are new to forums quite often miss things etc. So maybe he isn't avoiding you but missing posts or something? I cant find the ebay listing now anyway. Speaking of missing things on forums, I missed the post where he listed a mobile number 07508207986. http://forums.sv650.org/images/icons/icon11.gif So maybe he has limited internet access?
