As I know there will be some on here that I consider a friend, but don't already know of what happened yesterday, I figured a thread was the best way to tell everyone at the same time. :)

Yesterday, I agreed the sale of my K6, for a rather reasonable price (less than I'd of let it go for if it wasn't being sold to a friend).

In with the deal, they're getting my NWS stand, and all the various bits & pieces I've aquired over time.

So I'm now bikeless - and in the market for buying a car.

The reasons behind it, I don't really want to go into, but it's the sensible choice to make. There'll be another bike at some point, some time.

Of late, I haven't been that active on here, but I'll probably keep stopping by as I have been.

Keep it right side up folks, esp with the colder months approaching! :)

It's always just been a tool for me, or that's what I thought. A machine to get me from A-B. But driving a car all the time won't be the same freedom. The bike has been a good way to vent stress on many occassions (50k miles on the clock, 3 year old bike... hmmm).

Still not sure about that yet, it's just after pay day, but I aint sure. When you coming up? I've got your number so I can get in touch when you're up here.

EDIT: Viney, no drama about it, just couldn't be bothered to get in touch with people seperately. A public post seemed the most ideal way to communicate. :)

Aye fella. T'was a good ride down/back & decent banter. I won't embarass her though. :)

One of my last memories of the bike, strapping the entire front end, assembled, to the back of YC's curvy & riding back with him. :)

LOL. a usual occurence with parts on the back of his bike. A week or two back he had a frame stuck to it. Looked very odd8-[

A good memory :smt023 . Didn't realise it was you (or that you were even off the org) for an absolute age, then again I was pretty out of it.
Who's the lucky buyer? Bet that bike scrubbed up well.

No worries fella.

I'm not in a position to talk about the new buyer yet, but lets just say I'm keeping it in the family. ;)

As for it scrubbing up - it certainly will. I'm keeping it for a while yet & doing it up whilst keeping it off the road. So effectively in with the cost of the bike, the buyer is getting half of my tools (everything bike specific), I'm stripping & rebuilding the bike, I'll clean it whilst it's in bits (maybe not quite kwak clean, but not far off it) and the few niggles that I was living with will be ironed out. The buyer is paying for parts needed, but still a decent deal IMO.

Oh, it might also get a re-spray too, but that's going to cost the buyer, I'm not throwing that in as well!
