Does anyone have a spare rear indicator for a pointy?
The rubber body on mine no longer wishes to keep company with the metal mounting bolt and keeps falling off, despite regular applications of super glue. (I'm from Birmingham, that's the level I operate at).
Other glue recommendations also accepted.

Just as an aside, the indicators are different on a K3 do the other pointies, so it would help if you specified a year. The hole which they go through on the mudguard is a different size slightly.
I see from your sig it is a K4 correct?

I didn't realise that. Yes, it's for my K4. I guess K4 and onwards should be OK as I don't think anything changed after that as far as indicators go (apart from the lens colour).

Hey Tim.
I have one, but I was kind of looking to keep it (replaced mine with LED's, would like the option to get clear lenses and go back to stock tho).
I can, however lend it to you until you find a cheap replacement on Ebay or here.
And as you are just up the road, shouldn't be a problem to get it to you.
Easiest way would be if you could make it to Soho on Friday :)

David,
Thanks for the offer. There's no rush for a replacement: I can keep glueing the thing back on in the short term. I can't make Soho this Friday, either.
I've had a quick look on Ebay, but the cheapest I've seen is £17. Perhaps I would be better off looking at some of the more industrial strength glues at Robert Dyas?

Well I also have some 2 part Araldite "superglue" that I can pop round with at some point :)

Good man, Sideshow #36. I'd seen, thanks to Grinch's sticky post at the top, that SVSpares have them, but it's better to keep the money within the Org if possible. A PM has been sent.
David, I might still have a little of that Araldite of you, so I can keep the current one as a temporary replacement. The idea appeals to my sense of mechanical ineptitude. If only hammering was involved, too.
ive also got 2 rear sk4 indie's here for sale

Sorry, but I've decided to cross Sideshow#36's palm with silver.
You wait days for a spare indicator, then four come along at once.

If I had a pound for everytime I've found a minute difference with my K3 and other pointy years!! I'm not sure exactly which part number you are referring to, but the little oval shaped plastic bit on the base of the stalk where it goes into the hole of the rear mudguard is definitely different. One way round I tried it it wouldn't fit through, and the other way round (I had both types of indies and both years of mudguard) it fit in but was loose and wobbled around too much.
I have one you can have for nowt, although I cut the wire connector off it. Send me a pm if interested...

Thanks for that, Thor, but I'll go with Sideshow #36's.

I don't know what's happened to Sideshow #36, but I've heard nowt from him since the 12th of last month. I hope he's OK.
So does anyone else have a spare indicator for a K4 650S? (It's the nearside rear that needs replacing). SV Spares are doing them for £11, including delivery, but if someone here fancies selling me one for a tenner, let me know.

That would be great. PM with your details & I'll get the cheque in the post tomorrow & I'll PM you my details, too.
Just to confirm, these are pointy indicators, right?
