'Cutting edge' fashion is ugly. Always has been and always will be. That includes the clothes, the designers and most obviously the waifs who model it.

Somehow I think my mans 44 inch chest, would look very out of place in that stupid top. As for the skirt, you can't get much gheyer than that really.
IF he wore that, he'd climb into a hole quickly from me laughing so much.

Then again, he'd do it on purpose just for the windup.

Male ballerinas are not afraid to cover up though thus gaining much admiration for their bravery in wearing tights :smt045 :-P

I've been wearing jeans all summer and for some reason decided to wear black leggings and a mini last week, just as the weather gets colder lol. I feel odd knowing that somewhere a bloke has done exactly the same (probably carrying it off better than me too )

This is the sort of thing I have to look at at work all day. Is anyone going to tell a 6'5" tall Aussie, armed with a large lump of wood, who kills wild boar with his bare hands for fun that he looks a bit of a wuss in tights?

No but as you can see in the pic, the men are not flaunting girly vest tops to add further insult to the outfit...It still looks wrong though! Men in shorts fine, men in kilts definitely fine, men in tights and skirts? No thanks!

So will I. As demonstrated at a friends wedding recently, I'll happily wear the rest of the outfit, but not the tights. Even if M&S moleskin jeans aren't exactly traditional.

How on earth did I miss this thread yesterday???? If I saw Dan in any form of male tights or a skirt and he wanted to wear them seriously, I'd laugh til I cried. If he was wearing them for fancy dress, I'd laugh and feel very proud.

Either way though, I'd still have him....he's always gorgeous!

Wait a mo, as a biker who rides in all weathers i have a set of slinky skin tight grey thermal leggings and top. The leggings dont look too much different to what the dude wears in the video. However they are functional items for me and not a fashion thing, obviously. Why would some dude with terribly skinny legs wanna wear something that makes em look even more skinny tho?

Exactly! They just act as another layer to wear hidden under your bike gear (unless you go by the name of Luckypants :-P). You don't wear them with the sole purpose of getting your legs out and comparing size of calves with other likeminded blokes....or do you? Can't say I know you that well :D

I had an ex boyfriend who looked great in tights, mind you he was very toned and and they were fairly usually cycling tights. :smt050

I think that some guys look great in tight Lycra.

However, if any of the chaps I had dated had wanted to try a chaps skirt and tights because they were fashionable, he would have been dumped for being a fashion victim.

Had he wanted (and one of them did and looked amazingly hot to me) to go out in pretty skirt cross dressed, then who am I to stop him. If anything, dating a cross dresser was a great laugh for a while and I loved him dearly for the huge amount of fun we had. :thumright:

I met a really nice Cross Dresser at Glastonbury Pride this year, she was the only one of her kind there and no one else seemed to want to talk to her, just because under the clothes and make up she was a bloke. We had a great chat and she turned out to be a huge Extreme Metal fan with her own Black Metal Band. She was awesome and he was a really nice guy. :smt038

I agree with you their but only on the condition of your first statement, namely the word "toned". If a bloke's got a lurrrrvely body then yeah sure I don't mind being forced to observe it through tight clothing! However the chances of that sort of bloke not feeling demasculinized by wearing tights and a skirt are probably few and far between

Had he wanted (and one of them did and looked amazingly hot to me) to go out in pretty skirt cross dressed, then who am I to stop him.

I had a mate at uni who was an occasional cross-dresser. Only on the odd night out but he'd turn up with tights (usually fishnets) a skirt and maybe a basque if he was feeling particularly frisky :-P He looked so convincing a number of blokes would get a nasty surprise when he'd turn round and tell them to f off, he had a girlfriend  (who needless to say didn't mind his cross dressing one bit, in fact when asked she said it turned her on LOL)

tights are rubbish anyway, what you want are nice silicone topped hold ups, you're less likely to ladder them with your nails when you're answering a call of nature or something...

I will have to stand up and admit to you all that I was observed strutting around by many men and a few ladies this afternoon, wearing only a pair of tight black leggings and a tight black lycra top.

I wear these under my one-piece leathers cos it makes it easier to get in and out of them, and I was strutting around the pit-garage at Rockingham trying to find my phone which I could hear ringing while I was trying to change into my leathers.

I just watched that , and suddenly have the urge to buy a Knuckle Duster and I have no idea why . Fashion as far as I am concerned is something to buy in a casual fashion from the majority of mainstream shops . This tripe is a flash in the pan , designed by pillocks , worn by idiots and has had more air time than it actually deserved in the first place . Wear that stuff and your gonna look like a right Charly Hunt .
