View Full Version : Keyhole in seat fairing?
I notice a key hole on the nearside rear faring - what does this do? Is there some sort of cubby hole for my sarnies under the rear seat or something?
lol
why dont you try it?
stick the key in and see what happens
It's a gate way to Narnia! ;)
You are 100% correct, but you will not get much under the seat!

DO NOT! UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! OPERATE THAT KEY!
It will unless power far beyond your wildest expectations. The power is such that a rip in the space-time continumn will occur, sending you back (or forward, who knows) through time.
Naaaaa its to get the pillion seat off. turn the key, and with it turned lift the pillion seat and slide it towards the tank a little. Marvel at the toolkit under the seat and discover how much you can fit in there. If you have a 1999-2002 (curvy) SV, you'll get alot under there. If its a pointy, not so much but still quite usefull
If its a CBR600rr, you can get a credit card in there (just)

That was just some silly fiction books. Don't get confused with reality now. Narina is umm... some awesome magic place for bikers that really exists. Honest.

If your SV is yellow, it's a gateway to Ba-Narnia.

I fear to meet anyone brave enough to turn the key!
Damn, no wonder my bike wouldn't start when I try'd to start it the other keyhole place... I thought the battery was in a state of discharge.
I've been to Narnia, It's just up near the Hartside Cafe.

:laughat:
I can't get anything under my rear seat, it's full of exhaust. Under the rider's seat there's a cubby hole with about enough room for a packet of cigarettes and that's it. I travel light...

you can get more than a fag packet under that seat.
Try one Asda curry, two naans, a SV tool kit, an Onguard Disc lock(big barsddurd) and a throttle cable.
...oh pants thats with the added room of the seat cowl :-)
