If you have been living on planet moog for the last few weeks you migth not have noticed that you are all required to RETUNE your freeview box or Telly today from midday today or your TV wont work as form tomorrow.

This does not apply to Cable or Sattelite users.

this isnt actually true I found out, its not the digital switchover, simply a retune to update the Freeview channel listings.

If you dont do it then there may be some crappy shopping channels that you cant reach, but most of them will still be there until you can be bothered retuning.

The digital switchover is a totally different thing and hasnt happened yet, our area is planned for 2 November I think for phase 1.

If it doesn't work the next time I bother to turn it on, I'll try retuning it then.

Mine lost Ch5. Had to retune, then manually delete 60 odd pants channels just to get back where I started. Or not, as BBC news is called CNN for some reason. Deleted all the ITV channels anyway, so no worries about them being wrong.
Second time this year they have sodded about just to squeeze some more channels in no-one wants.

There's some good stuff on ITV4..... Tour of Britain and World Road Race Championships in the last couple of weeks, plus Europa Cup (if you like Fulham FC and the likes), so not all bad.

We get our telly down a wire from Virgin media. We haven't had any telly for two days now...and it's not even supposed to be affected:(.

All is not lost though as we have a box on another telly, and a digital telly too - both of which work correctly...:smt045

Wonder if Virgin will give me a rebate on the lack of media supplied (or not as is the case) to my house...
