Which one is better? Been contemplating one of these for a while as they keep coming up quite cheaply in my local unfortunately named games swapshop. (CEX).

I've been playing MotoGP'08 on the PC and it is actually quite good. Even contemplating getting a copy for the PS3 as using the keyboard is a tad hard.

In MotoGP'08 you have to start up in 125s then as you progress you unlock better teams based on your total career points to date (not per season), then teams in 250s etc. I think you have to do at least two seasons before the top level MotoGP teams are unlocked.

SBK09 is shoite, utterly shoite, not played 08. I found 09 wayyyyy to easy on the demo I downloaded.

I have Moto GP 08 on the Xbox. Very, very pleased with it.

As they are made by the same people the games should be pretty similar, i have

MotoGP 06
MotoGP 07
MotoGP 08

SBK 08
SBK 09

So far i'd say the best of the bunch is SBK 09 and MotoGP 08, for SBK, yeah it's easy until you set the options to "Real" turn off the traction control, reduce the braking power of the breaks and get rid of the other "riding aids" to make the game easier. Only one track isn't included in SBK 09 and that is Nurburgring.

MotoGP. The gameplay is so much better IMO.

MotoGP 09/10 is out at the end of February and looks good.

Although I can't help but notice that the visuals on motorcycle video games seem to be 10 years behind those in car games.

I would go for motogp but dnt start on easy mod because it is way to easy and then when you win it all in 3 season you wont want to start again

It's not really possible to compare the gameplay of a MotoGP bike to a World Superbike.. as they wouldn't handle the same! Generally the games are similar, i prefer SBK because i prefer the racing of that in real life.

Well then you have had a mare! :-P

IMO Moto GP was much better than SBK gameplay-wise. Only thing I can knock on Moto GP is the fact there is no option to do a weekend (Practice, Qualifying etc (not sure if you can do this on SBK either though)).

well, they are both for age 3+ so we can't expect much gameplay wise can we
