Too much bad stuff been happening round here. We need happy talk.
I will kick it off with my good news.
1) 15 days since the naughty man with the hair dryer tried to take my piccy & number, so off the hook (I hope).
2) Bro phoned. I have got his ticket against the dingles. I could not get one and he has to work and has a season ticket.
Happy Happy Happy
Going to attend an open day sat, might just change my life, nice idea Tim

Happyness..... em... well I'm feeling extremely unhappy after hearing the news on here yesterday, but before that, my weekend was a very happy one with a great run up to John O Groats with some good friends. Stayed the night in Thurso and came home sunday and witnessed some of the most beautiful views and scenery I have ever seen. Truly epic. I will be going back next summer

I spent some time with my 3 week old niece on Saturday night, along with a lot of home cooked curry and a couple of beers, which was nice :)
Today I've had my first ever ride on a tandem (round our work carpark) and I'm now thinking of getting one for me and the Mrs to play on :)

Nah, if you was a nerd you'd already be playing ArmA2. OFP2 is still in my opinion a crappy knockoff by a crappy company and dammit why isn't ArmA2 coming to 360 yet? On the other hand, I'm glad my 360 is out of action (decorators in, living room inaccessible) so I can avoid buying any games for the next two weeks. Stuck with my ancient laptop, got C&C: Tiberian Sun for 99p in Gamestation today!
Looking forward to being woken up at 8am for the next two weeks by decorator, but after it's all done I'll have a lush living room and hallway, woo! Finally I won't be ashamed of my house.

Actually I am already playing ArmA 2 :D. Its great fun, but still buggy like the first flashpoint! The new flashpoint, yeah I know the story with Codemasters, but it has had a good review, it has coop campaign that I am dying to play with my mate, and it was £17.99 pre-ordered! I'll let you know which one is better! Anyway, back to ArmA 2, must finish it before Friday.

Have a look at this trailer http://www.gametrailers.com/video/look-and-operation-flashpoint/57230
It is all about the countless hours they spent researching all the vehicle and weapon authenticity, how they are striving for full realism. If you are a fan of the original flashpoint for the same reasons I am (realism, weaponry, strategy and tactics) then this *hopefully* should be up your alley. I reserve the right to remove that remark after I've played it though!

1) I had a letter from gas/electrickery supplier, seems I been overpaying so they reduced my monthly direct debit by £33 without any prompting :D
2) I am currently covering maternity leave at work which is due to end in December and with it my 10 years at the company, but the girl i'm covering is not returning so I have the opportunity to stay in the role permanently :D
The above happened because I was **** on by a bird at the cash point the other day in front of 6 other people in the queue and loads of others watching in the Tescos :smt070

only 120,000 people are able to enter the ballot (then it is closed, it only took 10 days i think this year) then a few months later they randomly select the 'winning' applications. i'm not sure how many it is but it's a LOT less than 120,000 (just googled it, apparently there are fewer than 20,000 ballot places)! if you get rejected 5 (i think) times then you are guaranteed a place the following year.
I dont have much good news in my life right now but its good and cheered me up readin gother peoples escapades lol
