Forum nicknames

I have been wracking my brains trying to find where the thread about forum names has gone.

I'm curious to know how Hovis got his.

We got told last night that Hovis came about after he moved down to South Wales and an advert out at the time for Hovis (the bread :-P) had somebody with a Yorkshire accent like his original Bradfordonian one :-) Correct me if I'm wrong though!

Basically mate, he is Yorkshirese. That's right, he's not ACTUALLY a Weslh boy

Hovis moved to Wales as a lad and had a thick Yorkshire accent, he sounded like the lad from the Hovis advert.

The accent went but the name remained
