when i was installing my new indies and tail tidy. i was wondering how to fit them as they no longer had the right connections. so i thought i'd try shove the rear number plate light ends into the female socket. when i did so there was a spark and my sv all of a sudden lost its power to everything.
both lights and dash board and even the alarm have no power it seems dead
i have checked all six of the fuses under the seat but they are fine. the battery is also fine so what else could be wrong?
any advice?

it maybe best if you call the AA, I fear if you tried to fix this problem it may put you at serious risk when riding.

Good evening.
Have you checked the main fuse? It's usually located in the starter solenoid. Follow the positive battery lead from the battery, this will lead (pun intentional) you to the solenoid.
Cheers.

No probs. You aren't the first to find out that the little yellow raw fish eating beggars have hidden another fuse somewhere that isn't obvious.:D
Cheers.
Whats unusual about that , no SV's have any real power!!;):)
