absolutely...

...There's a ferry from Plymouth to Santander, the Pyreneese are then less than a day's ride away ;)

plymouth to bilbao is better cause bilbao is closer to the pyrenese, but the roads between them and barcelona are good too :)

been a long time since i lived in plymouth and never rode a bike when i lived there.... but most of the roads that lead out of plympton could be worth a look or the main road out to the moors could good! from the uni go up to mutley then follow the signs to tavistock some good sweeping roads iirc.

As Chewie said
Or head over the bridge to saltash turn right at Carkeel roundabout then follow that road basicaly all they way round to Tavistock and back across the moors
If you need any info or a guide let me know need to get the bike out

I'm an ex-Saltash resident. Didn't have a bike in those days but IIRC the road off the A38 to St Germans and then on to Downderry is really good, carry on into Looe. Then on through Sandplace and St Keyne to Liskeard, then the A390 through Callington, Gunnislake, and Tavistock - then wherever you want:cool:

The A386 from Tavistock to Bideford is quite good too...

As others have said, the Torpoint twisties from Torpoint to Trerulefoot are fun but be careful -

There are some amazin roads down this neck of the woods. If you head out of the city in almost any direction you,ll find some fantastic roads.

Find Captain Jaspers for the local bike haunt. Oh, and ignore the Welsh one, he just doesn't like it down here as our sheep aren't people friendly! ;)

Jesters is the real place to pick up a bike though!

Dear old Plymouth. I still feel sad about having had to leave - in 1996 - and one day we'll be back.

Touche. Was expected if i'm honest. Luckily im actually from eastleigh just at the side of southampton. Much better. Much more...... english (if i can say that).

I have heard plymouth is pretty good riding spot for trials bikes and is otherwise just full of pikeys. :smt081
