I want to junk the boring old round headlight on my SV1000 and have been trying to search for something to suit. I'm actually really surprised that there aren't any cool looking headlights being made that fit straight on (apart from teh usual alien and acerbis mx tat). All it would take is a cool maybe twin stacked unit or KTM style but there is nothing on the market.

Anyhow, I saw this on ebay, and wondered if anyone has encountered or fitted these before. Bit concerned about it coming from Thailand - could be cheap crap.

Any thoughts or advice ?

Hmmmmm 25w bulbs fitted, I doubt they will tak H4's and even then it may have heat issues, a looks more than function type I'd imagine.

This is a Rizoma unit, fully metal construction and two H7 projectors, but was £499 list a few years ago,

you do tend to get what you pay for.

Cheers Mark.

[Edit] ive seen them on bikeit aswell i think so could be cheaper than getting it in from far away places.

H3 are perfect for this headlight unit aswell.
Although it means tiny bit of soldering lots of eletric tape and drilling out a washer to hold the bulb in the original fitment.

Only overheating ive had comes from the smell of buring rubber if you sit still for too long ( so does get hot and burns the rubber cover to the backing) again no big deal as mines still all in one peice. just singed on one side a tad.
