I'm back in the UK this weekend visiting a few friends and should have time to do a bit of gear shopping, helmets etc.

So apart from Hein Gericke in Reading is there anywhere else for both road and off road kit in Reading or Basingstoke?

I don't know the area too well, but I have a Tom Tom, so link, address or post code would be great too.

Tricounty in Bracknell, for KTM and Aprilia but sort of opposite direction I guess.

If you want to go a bit further there is On Yer bike Aylesbury, MPS next to H's diner, Dorchester or of course George White Swindon who have a massive selection of stuff. Google will find all three (cos I'm too lazy :p )

Oh, there are a couple of places along the same raod as HG in Reading. All smaller independants I think but as you are in the area could be worth a nose.

You also have a George white with outlet shop in slough and then overpriced Brian Grays in Wycombe too.

Motts Suzuki in Amazingstoke - not sure of their rep though.

George White Superstore at Swindon might be worth a visit.

Brian Gray's are OK if you tell them the price you want to pay - they usually match deals in other nearby shops. Irritating I know but they only ever put RRP on their kit.

I do not recommend buying a lid from the Factory Outlet section of George White stores. Some of them are VERY old stock. One good thing about Arai lids is they put the "date of birth" on the chin strap - was in the Slough branch a few weeks ago trying stuff on and they had Aria's in there with a 1999 date on them!!!!

Hein Gericke near Farnborough - great shop and service

Infinity Farnborough - bikes sales and bike gear at good prices, useless sales service

Motts in Basingstoke - useless salesmen and bad aftersales (bought a new SV650S from them and they were numpties)

Byke Bitz in Yately (near Camberley) - lots of bike gear at okay prices.

Only one's I've used.

I would highly recommend Nick Robinsons in Turgis Green(Half way between basingstoke and reading on the a33) They really know what their talking about and from other shops ive seen have some of the best prices. Bought all my gear, and my first bike, from them, cant fault them at all.

Got some HG pants and jacket and a Nitro helmet in Reading. Going to get goggles locally in case I need new lenses in the future. Thanks for being useful TV.
