Our first took a long time to pop out, but I nearly missed number 2 popping out as I'd popped out to B&Q, because I thought she'd be hours.
Came back to the hospital to find my wife missing from her bed:p

They said there could be no action until Sunday, it is a slow process! She has been induced but they want it to be as natural as possible so have only part induced her...or something like that?!

That means they have probably given her the pessary which softens the cervix to encourage labour. If nothing happens they will put her on the drip which "makes" it happen. I'm going for a job as a maternity care assistant so have some knowledge on this stuff.
