Nahh, I meant as in "the press say a lot about a few minor incidents that happen on certain countrys motorcycles, when really those minor incidents are few and far between, and said incidents rarely happen"

But then these said press wouldn't flame said Jap bikes or they wouldn't get many bikes to thrash and write reviews on, where as these smaller companies can't afford to give bikes away willy nilly to thrash, so any minor issues get written about a lot more.

Aint a true biker till u've owned Italian (replace for car) isn't that the one he uses?

Problem with older alfas, like older italian bikes, they DID have electrical issues :lol:

I would reckon the comparison is better with some mad 2-stroke. Short bursts of fun punctuated by lots of frustration and expense.
