If i was doing this i'd start with this...
Motorbikes are awesome, mainly cos i ride them. If i drove a truck i assure you that trucks would be awesome too.
Other reasons why bikes are awesome are many and varied and all less interesting than seeing me on a bike.
if that dont get em giggling throw your mic on the floor, shout out "you're the worst audience ever!" and walk out.
HTH.

get a car that can beat an sv in a race for less than £5K, is a good point to make!
or mention the motorcycle community, ie: 2 cars crash noone cares everyone goes round them. a car hits a bike, and every biker pulls over to make sure the biker is ok/alive, yet still no cars stop!!!
also mention how much better curveys are compared to pointys :D

Anyway, bikers are medically proven to be smarter then any other vehicle driver because of the extra brain power needed to stay safe and up-right on a motorbike

Then tell them that you can buy a (used sports) bike for 2K that can out-accelerate a porsche. That might get their attention.

For me, its because they provide sensations that cars cannot. Smells, vibrations, forces, even working on a bike is awesome. Forget explaining why (ok its too late now!) bikes are better in terms of things like "filtering through traffic" or "easy to park" or "cheap to run" because the counter arguments are you still get wet even thouhg you get home quicker than in a car, parking might be easier but you have to walk aroun town in your hot bike kit, cheap to run but you have to fork out for expensive kit and spend more time maintaining a bike.
Think of all the great bikes that are expensive to buy and own, like the RC30 below. But you know what, thats a peice of motorcycling exotica which, compared to car-exotica, is affordable (if you can find one). And what cars have gear-driven cams ;)

the evo? yep they either has bad drivers or im well past the bikes limit because they dont keep up with me and im sure there not new and cost more than £5k new. but i do ride one of them superior curvy bikes!
judging when this thread was started, you have already done this talk, did it go well?
I just thought i would pipe up, mainly because the posts i've read have been about bikes being better than cars, not why bikes are awesome.
Dont want to rock the boat to much, but bikes aren't better than cars, there just different??

Motorbikes are awesome because you can sing in your helmet and the people in the cars can't see you doing it. You don't want to pick your nose when you are on a motorbike either...

Because SV's are better than that Thundercat haha and they also fall over on roundabouts with gravel and break feet!
Because of the rewards from getting it all right.
