1st off i apoligise if this is in the wrong section, mods feel free to move as appropiate.

Now my question as the title says, i have a naked sv 650 k8. good condition 6000 miles, few sensible mods hugger, tail tidy, crash bungs and cat1 alarm. And a few questionable mods but i think there great carbon can, stiffer front springs and my fav gsxr calipers

As i spend most of my time carrying the missus on the back decided i need something bigger, thinking sv1000 or fazer 1000 or even poss vfr 800. And have finally succumbed to wanting a fairing, always detested plastic bikes but nakeds aint to much fun sitting at high speeds

Many Thanks

More info needed.One owner?Service history?HPI clear/any damage?Got the original parts?
And exactly when it was first registered as that makes quite a difference on newish bikes.
I think you may struggle to get more than £3000 for it though.Wrong time of year and its a buyers market.

£2800 I think, if its in decent nick. Less is the tyres are worn. I'd expect the chain and sprockets to be good at 6000 miles, and I'd expect the bike to have had an oil and oil filter change in the last 2000 miles

Had 3 or 4 oil changes with filters done, im the only owner, outstanding finance will be cleared. had avon storms fitted few hundred miles back. Good condition got all original bits n bobs. more i look the more i find, its got a k&n filter plus its had the yoshi box treatment dyno graphs to prove
Was registered March 08
Yeah know its not the right time to sell, do you think id be best leaving it till summer time?
Dont actually need to sell.Off on a big holiday in a few weeks then was planning on getting a new bike when i get back, but would be good if i could sell the sv for a decent amount if not will just keep and part ex

I saw an 09 in graphite grey sell for £2801 on ebay last week. And Ive also got to go and see an 08 with 9000 on the clock FDSH dry miles etc and asking price is £2500 and Ive also got another to go and an 07 plate 3000 miles for £2400. It is a buyers market and theres no use waiting till spring because its then a plate older!!!
