Yes, that's because they've released their Xmas catalogue

It's too early, needs to be banned until at least the end of November, it'd make Xmas special again.

Wadda ya think.

I used to love Xmas, but now I'm bored of it by the time we get there

I am ashamed to admit it but whilst listening to CLASSIC FM all week, Lapland UK has been advertised almost every 30 minutes.

Like anyone is going to go to that after last years fiasco.

Disclaimer - Classic FM stop me killing people in the morning whilst sat in traffic.

In fact i might ban all Xmas threads from IB until then. Just say i'm doing my bit to make it special again.

I heard the music and was well chuffed!

:D

Most upbeat time of the year by far and the longer it lasts the better.

Tesco beat all the shops with their cheery "double club card points in time for Xmas" adverts at the start of August.

I dont think xmas song should be on the radio or in shops before Dec 1st. try explaining to a 4 year old that it's 72 sleeps til santa - it just doesnt compute!

(saying that - our xmas night out is the 27th of November!)

I think the Tesco thing is 'cus the points vouchers are awarded quarterly and the final quarter comes out before Christmas, so you get double points in the 3 months up to Christmas to spend on Christmas gifts... YEGETME? I used to get annoyed at adverts but not anymore... agree on the music though. Next used to play oldies and newbies all day long from Mid-October which wasn't too bad but it did get a lil' irratating at times.

It's not Christmas until the Coca Cola ads with the big lorries and the wee "holidays are coming, holidays are coming 'Tis the season, it's always the real thing" song come on...
