I was dabbling around trying to see more about what Dave got up to with his running etc.. trying to find who ran in his name etc at the Cardiff half marathon .. and what time was returned..

Well I came across his Cardiff Park Run site that he was an avid member of..

on here are some lovely comments and some ace pics of Hovis running and he knocked 5 ins of his time lately so he was improving.

more moving if you click n the banners at the top. is that he actually did the Park run the morning of the Saturday he passed away, comforting for me that really ; in that he took part in running and biking on that day so spent time with his friends from all aspects of his life, even if it was one arm of that wide social life he had that was to take him away from us all.

I suppose it helps to realsie that he packed a lot in, bikng , running, facebook, umpteen bike websites, he was everywhere -

and it also highlights that he had very many friends from all parts of his life and we , as bikers, will only be a very small part of his funeral on Wednesday -

Take a look.. see the banners at the top of the link and take a good look at the pics, he even checkin his watch on one bless him to monitor his time..

Ta for digging those out Quiff. Makes you realise doesnt it how much we dont know about each other away from the org.

Nice to see and read about another aspect of his life that he obviously really enjoyed and got a hell of a lot out of.

In the memorial run, the last picture in that line is a really good photo, I don't know why, it just is.

Good find Quiff.

Stephen's gun time 01:59:39 was almost exactly the time Hovis had set himself. He said he wanted to do it in less than 2 hours even if it was 1:59:59. Great run Stephen :D
