Who was the first Org-er you met? I couldn't remember so had to check back, and it was Wheelnut at the Brass Monkey Run, Jan 2005. :D
So which Org-er did you pop your cherry with? :cool:

The lid they had sold me was cheap and nasty and far too big, you and Pete gave me the help I needed to go and change it and I got my fabby white Arai (I just bought a second one not too long ago so I dont look like a Rozzer...oh wait...! ;))
You also recommended I get some proper leathers as I was riding in my snowboarding jacket and pointed me in the direction of Hein Gericke and long story short, I ended up with the love of my life as a result...
Really never did thank you for that!

Unfortunately for me the first orgers I met was also you lissa and pete. :lol: It was in the petrol station just before Grafham Waters where you were both wondering why your rear end wasn't that grippy. You concluded that it was too much chain lube. :D

Sorry Lissa, but the first Orger I met was Peterco in the glorious summer of 2006.
He promtly vanished for nearly 3 years so I began to think I might have dreamed him, but he's back now. :-)

I honestly can't remember, does yorkie_chris count :-P It must have been Dizzyblonde actually, my first rideout was AR08 and we rode down with her and Carnivore but I'm not even sure we met before that....?
the first orger i clapped eyes on was Fizzwheel...
i was meeting him, tara, amanda m, mrs amanda m and mark M65 in Yeovil. Fizz rode into the petrol station where i was waiting for him at such a gallop i had clenched buttocks expecting him to slide off on some spilt oil/diesel/petrol and career into me!!

Tis all a bit hazy as I'm getting old and my memory is going...
It was either Dr Rich aka The White Rabbit & Tee Jay at the Petrol Station at Cribbs causeway or the Idle Banter lot at the drinking weekend in Yeovil.
Like Keith I clearly remember riding into that petrol station to quickly and locking up my front wheel... the look on his face was priceless and I am sure was matched by the equally "oh sh*t" look on my face to.

My first ever orger to pop my cherry was Stretchie, he was also the first to talk to me. But, in attendance at the same petrol station were El Saxo, Viper, Luckypants, Baph, Ross_C, Stewie and mister Quiff Wichard (ahwighhhht). First conversation with Quiff was an Ice Breaker..."We're you on the M6 a couple of weeks ago?" :lol:
Then on to meet Tim Wilky (who isn't really a grumpy b@stard) and Bluepete (who is funny). I will never forget I was following Tim, through a fast blind bend, and meeting a out of control(ish) horse around the bend, Tim's fault :lol:
That's right, my first orgers that I met, was at an Annual Rideout :shock:

First person i met was Treacle and that was sometime in July, i turned up at the SELKENT meet asked if there was a bike meet there (because i couldnt see any bikes) and as i asked Treacle walked in behind me

Courdelion or Rich as hes more normally know, met up at squires in 2005, hes moved to Dublin now, but still see him regular, we go to the TT and i went to his wedding in Sardinia, great mate, if somewhat of a girl when he has a drink and prone to attempting reasoning with doorstaff..........................

Mine was Baph , he showed me where the Brewery Tap was in Eastham Rake ? , there I met Luckypants , Witchery ? and Flymo . There may have been a couple of others but I cannot remember the names or the faces . I just remember Witchery saying "Bloody Hell Luckypants , your Viffer sounds like it`s raising hell , spot on"

I'm pretty sure it was Pete & Lissa too :D 2mths, Soulkiss and others were there too so they may have popped my cherry first but your throbbing purple curvy monster was the weapon that made me think "yep, thems the folks".
(ok, so it was blue with purple bits, but the fnar fnar value of "throbbing purple curvy monster" was too much to resist)
I remember Soulkiss had wired up a bunch of extra LEDs onto his (red) pointy in some kind of Close Encounters lighting pattern, 2mths had multiple different shades of red on his red pointy, and my (red) pointy was still clean...

Before I actually bought or even considered an SV , I was coming home one day on my Honda VaraDildo (I hated that bike so much) , and as I got to the roundabout near my house , a rather swish SV1000 pulled up opposite me , it had a Barry Sheene paintjob and looked the mutts nuts . I bought an SV a week later and little did I know , that very same SV appeared on my first Rideout (NW 3.5) and it belonged to Girth .

The very first Orger I met was at Weston Bike Night last year. I actually walked past him at first because he was not on an SV, but a Fireblade. He was good natured about it, but my perilous shyness came out and we managed to have a brief chat. Hovis had turned up to see Gid and I met hovis first and Gid a few minutes later. :rolleyes:
After that, I met another very lovely Orger called Von Tease. She turned up at ours in a big van with a hunky guy and a pair of gorgeous Collies. The first thing that struck me was how incredibly beautiful she is and instantly I hated her guts in that jealous sisterly way! :smt044
So that is my three Orgers, however one day I want to catch up and share a pint or three with a whole other load of you. I think I owe a pint to Ed, Spiderman, YorkieChris, StartrekSteve and well quite a few of you actually for the great advice, kind words and encouragment. Love you lots dear Org. :kiss:
PS, I really don't hate Von Tease's guts, I think she is totally cool and I love her to bits. Just don't tell her, OK? :smt026

The first orger I met was YC. He hadn't had an SV long and swore blind he had something wrong with a cam chain rattle. Carnivore and I had just got in from a long shift at work and both said
meh, come up to my house and we'll tell you waht its supposed to sound like
So he did..and guess what, yup just another usual SV rattle there YC!
Funnily enough a couple of years back there was a thread about which orgers you'd like to meet the most. Both Hovis and I put that we'd like to meet each other. I was so chuffed:D

Batteryman (bought the SV from him -met at his work)
Viffer (sold him a front wheel and brakes -met at my office)
Stig_Of_The_Dump (sold him my old trailer -side of the road near Silverstone)

My first time would be way way back in the dark recesses of 2002, when, as the proud owner of the now legendary Rizla SV, I trundled up to find the Soho Massive on Friday night.
With no sign of them at Frith I got to Chelsea Bridge, saw a load of dodgy beardy looking types* pitch up on SVs and went over to investigate. I forget exactly who was there that night, but it was a good helping of the old guard (Topcat, Jelster, Phil, etc) and I'm pretty sure Rictus was in there as well, with one of his fabulous SV creations of the time!

*Actually come to think of it they were distinctly less dodgy and beardy than the current Soho contingent, not that it would be possible for anyone to be more of either of those things! ;)

I came out to say hi when you guys were off on a rideout but I couldnt make it.
Was only up the road from me so would have been rude no to pop over.
My have met a few cross forum org'ers over the year but only org'er I knew of was Lynw :)

Hah, my first rideout was Carlsberg same as LeedsMatt, i met DavePreston just off Juction 31 M6, Rode down if i recall rightly the A59?
Then about 10-20 minutes later met at a McDonalds with Newts and Bluefish, all handy welcoming people.
Met quite a few nice peeps on that first meet which DP convinced me in the end to come on.
One of them being you LeedsMatt. you got introduced into the world of.... how to drive like the Manx?
P.s. i've still not working out what those shiny sticking out reflective things are for on my bike. Pretty though.
