right. this question has been bugging me for ages, ive seen some attempts which have been done quite successfully and at cost but can anyone interested or have had experience please answer me.

Q. can you turn an sv650n to an sv650s?

pictures would be helpful too.

i mean can you swap the top yoke from an 650s onto 650n which then attach the clipons along as well? ive never heard this being done before so it might be a ridiculous question.

also if not then when you buy and install clip ons to an unmodified 650n then how much hastle is it to adjust the brake hoses to compensate for the height difference also the reservoir as the naked is mounted on the handle bars and wouldn't fit on the clip ons.

if theres anyone that can finally shine a light on this once and for all i think alot of people, including myself would finally be able to rest at night lol:p

good luck

I looked at this recently, albeit going the other way.
You'd need top yoke and clip ons and ideally new cables and brake lines as yours would be too long now.
Footrests are different height; higher on a S.
SWinging arm is shorter on a S
Chain and sprockets and gearing are different too.
S radiator has brackets for fairing and the N doesn't.
I'll let someone else fill in what I've missed.:)
