Hey guys are per this thread;
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=141599
My brakes need some attention I would be very grateful if I could some help please. I don't want it done for me, I want to learn so I can do it myself.
I do need new brake pads for the front and rear, what are the best pads to use on the bike?
I can travel, but I have a garage here and a reasonable amount of tools now if that makes its easier.
Thanks:D

Last time i bought pads for the bike I just when oem - though I would reccommend changing each set on consecutive weekends so that you give each set a chance to bed in & get some bite in them.

Hey thanks for the offer but I'm at work and stuck in meeting south of the river most of the day tomorrow. But I need to get the break pads first.

I put the new pads in front today, I gave everthing a dam good clean as suggested its all clean and shiny now:D
As I said in the other thread the brakes not being sharp is that just them bedding in. I haven't bleed them either.
The rear break can be done at a later date.
