KFC is being prosecuted after inspectors found cockroaches, blood, mice, flies and mould at their Leicester Square branch.

I'm very glad that I refuse to set foot in the place. Anyone eaten there recently?

True, but the Leicester Square branch is their flagship restaurant.

There's a reason why I don't eat at those places. Fair enough all branches mightn't be the same but why take the risk when a minority are?
cockroaches, blood, mice, flies and mould
All the major food groups there :D

tbh the idea of mice and roaches dont really bother me. Having worked in catering there is a lot of stuff that goes on that sounds so bad but does no one any harm in the long term.
I eat KFC and justify it as the best of all fast food cos at least its chicken and chicken is good for you.
I know the above statement is full of holes and flawed thinking but its how i justify it to myself so shush!
KFC - Yuk.
Fast food chains in Leicester Square - Yuk.
Nuff said.
Mice Bother me. Mice are incontinent. YUK.

Just today, for lunch (Cwmbran). Not sure if I've ever eaten in the Leicester Square one, usually I end up in Chiquitos with several very large margaritas...
The Newport Road KFC in Cardiff is surrounded by rat traps. This is because it's right next to the railway, though, so I see it as a prevention rather than cure, as I shovel delicious chicken into my gaping maw.

Ive been to a few jobs to get CCTV from KFC and it was immaculate!
Im sure as Spidey says that even top places have their problems, I mean didnt Gordon Ramsey have a problem with the health inspector at some point in the past?
If you want to know exactly what has happened to your food then you had better start rearing livestock and slaughtering it and cooking it yourself, other than that, it's in other people's hands and you just have to accept that.
And ewwwww Gracie, that is naaastie, I would rather have the blood and rat droppings than those mingers in the sink YUCK!

Each one is owned as a franchise from KFC I think, so its down to the franchise holder to ensure the cleanliness of the place. If not then its down to the manager being lazy.
KFC is ok, as at least the pieces of meat you get are recognisable. I was in my local KFC equivilant the other day and they were having a proper clean down, all the fryers were away from the wall, and the stainless splash back was being properly cleaned. So they ain't all bad.
Not good publicity for KFC though. Someone might loose their franchise

About six years ago, I was taking the lads to football practise and popped into a KFC drive through.
Ordered the food,
Drove around to the little window and looked in...
There were four youths in the kitchen area with about an inch of water on the floor, as they walked across it they were kicking cups and wrappers around in stead of picking them up.
One lad was leant against a cooker with his hands down the front of his trousers then collected my order and passed it to me :puker:
I don't think they would let me back there now even if I wanted to.
I've never set foot in a KFC since.

A faintly ridiculous subject. I abso-thingy-lutely guarantee you that examples of this can be found in any number of any sort of food establishment and supermarket up and down the country.
Actually supermarkets are particularly worrying - ever buy anything from the deli? Well don't do it again, I mean that.
The fashion for chain bashing is all well and good in the chattering classes, but in reality there's no reason at all to think that any sort of shop is better than any other - the individual establishment is what matters.

 I don't each much fast food it make me feel ill if I eat too much it, I once thought I was gonna blow whilst driving around M25 after a w/end of junk and 12 hour filiming days:(
As a whole I don't like junk food, so much food is processed now I guess the last junk I had was pizza. But I shoved a dirty burger down my trap after beer:laughat:why do we do it?
If you want a mouse I'm sure next time I'm at my folks the cats will have half eaten something as a present:p do you want it? I have gone of mouse!
