Sky Tv's new look... finding TV programs just became horrid...
They have updated the TV Viewing Guide.
I don't like it.

Can it be any worse than the old one? Even my cheapy Argos portable has a better listing system.

Unless I am missing something, why can't you continue to at least watch in a window or even just listen when going to the listings page?

Ahh OK. I've had that for over a year. Works fine once you get used to it. The search function is great, for finding those obscure programs on for instance 'motorcycle'. The PIP (picture in picture) and sound from what you are currently watching is a major step forward too.

HD? We are lucky to get LD in the odd enclave I live in which for television and telecomunications purposes seems to be part of Wales :-k

It's a right royal pain in the **** for me. My gf has very poor eyesight and could only just read the old style menu. The font in the new format is smaller, thus meaning that I have to read everything out for her because she can't read the menu herself.

According to a couple of my friends who have sky - they got new viewing cards to get the new updated system... :|

Ive had the new EPG on our boxes at work now for over a month, the worst thing they have done. Its slow and much harder to do anything.

I have had the updated cards for our sky boxes, nothing has changed.

Also what we have now, I assume the old system is slow and crap, we pay for this. My Tv with built in freeview which runs faster, I'm not seeing many reason to pay up next for it, apart from housemate that wants it:rolleyes:
