Left 4 Dead 2!

I played the demo and its very nice! Its different from the first one in a few ways, one of the first things is it looks better! There are more weapons and health items.

Weapons I noticed so far:
-AK47 style assault rifle
-3 burst firing Assualt rifle
-M16/M4A1 style assault rifle from first game
-Sniper from first one
-Silenced Mini Uzi style submachine gun
-Uzi style submachine gun from first game
-2 versions of the pump action shotgun, seem to work the same
-2 versions of the assault shotgun

Apparently there are many more as well!

Medical help stuff:

-Med kit like first game
-Pills like first game
-Shock pads, allows you to revive dead players!
-Adrenaline, works similar to the pills

Throwables:
-Pipe bomb as first game
-Molotov as first game
-Bile works by making undead attack whatever its thrown at and sticks on. Means the undead can beat up boss monsters such as the tank!!! :D

There are supposed to be a lot of other additions such as grenade launchers. There are also a few monsters been added but I wont go into detail, you can enjoy finding out for yourselves!

From what I seen I think it will most certainly be worth getting! :D

Prices; PC £26.99 atm, Xbox360 £39.99. Id advise getting it for PC if you have one that can handle it! A LOT cheaper and you wont get charged for downloadable content and you'll also have access to any user made content for free!

The shotgun seems a bit...weedy to me..but then I suppose they are trying to find balance with it.
Like the new weapons though, the AK, Scar (burst fire!!!), and Colt are all nice, the new sniper is a BEAST!!

The boomer bile is a GENIUS IDEA!!! it's so much fun whapping one of those on a tank or witch and running for it, going to have fun with that.
I can imagine smashing it on the side of a building opposite and watching the hordes run off the edge trying to get at it ^_^...also want to see if you can smash it on your team mates.....just as an experiment =p.

Still trying to get hold of a Mangnum or Grenade launcher, may have to sv_cheat it tonight...

The melee weapons are a nice touch, Machete'ing your way through a horde is pretty satisfying but I think it's a tad too easy, as it's one hit kill on pretty much anything taking down swathes at a time....
Also decapitating everything in one hit with a guitar...whilst ammusing and very Metal....gets silly quickly.

I love the Uncommon common!, such a great idea, i'm just glad the security forces had those budget cuts so they could only afford front body armour or we'd be in trouble lol :rolleyes:

Can't wait to see the Hazmat's, and the Crecendo is a great idea! it's good to see them mixing things up and evolving the game.

Oh...and personally my most anticipated moment for the game will be getting to play the Jokey....as I expect everyone with an ounce of evil b*st*rd in them is :)
But on expert the jokey does wayyyyy too much damage seriously!!! not only will he run you off but rip your head off at the same time!
It's like a smokers drag only steerable with unlimited distance and time, but also Hunter initial pounce damage, regardless of if it's from point blank...AND Damage over time from the moment he hits you I mean seriously...pick a damage type and stick to it!.

Hope the Don't like the new POV though, I mean it looks like I'm holding the gun as if I'm trying to fit it up my nose for some reason....

Yea the new SLR (FN FAL) sniper is amazing! One shot kills against the hordes and it REALLY powerful. I like a lot.

Hope there is custom content out fast! I wonder how long it will take to get the original Left 4 Dead maps ported across ha ha. :)

One thing I think they should have perhaps done is allow people to make their own character... Though I do like some of the things they say!

Oha nd the graphics on the beginning video! Wow, it looks so real in some places, the Engine is getting so good now its mental. Ive always liked the Source engine. It just works and its not that demanding, and at the same time looks great and very clean. I think it has a great future still :D

I think because I got it pre ordered I got it a week earlier than Joe public. I heard it should be out in a few days for you. So just check it now and again and it should turn up :)

5 levels to start with, this time though there are multiple paths to complete each one and things are more random so you should find it more interesting to play! If you play the first one now there are a load of user made ones. :)

not on the xbox there aint i spose thats what killed it for me especially when you compare it to borderlands where you get a full fledged campaign to do in full 4 player co op beats left 4 dead hands down.

No... I dont like Xbox at all. The fact you have to pay for any expansion on top of the extra cost of the game and Xbox live as well. Just sucks! :( Oh and then there is no user made stuff on it either. :confused:

Im not sure, looks like the entire engine has been revised tbh. Will see when the full game comes out, I got a feeling that there will be a lot more that the demo doesnt show. :D

ha ha, the Michetti is a beast. Just lops them apart. Apparently there will be a samurai sword too! :cool:

Ahahah, I got the demo (loved the first game, is great for fri nights in with a bottle of vodka, turning the lights off, slapping on a set of headphones and playing online with mates).

I love the sound the frying pan and guitar makes when you hit zombies with 'em. Flicking tracks on the jukebox in that smashed up bar is quite fun as well. Attracts lots of attention. :D

My weapons of choice are shotgun until I can find a sniper rifle (Nothing beats picking them off with single head-shots from a distance) and the machete as a close range melee weapon... :lol: I just love the way their heads fly off!! :lol:

Looking forward to trying out the chainsaw in the full version, though not sure when I'll be buying it. Money's a bit tight. :rolleyes:

I luff this game for the pure mindless violence against undead.

Vs mode - FANTASTIC!!!
Playing the Jokey will turn even the nicest person into a complete and utter ******* and they will love it.
The spitters also prooving very handy ;)
