That's pretty cool, shows the reinforcing bars in the door. Makes you realise why modern cars are so heavy and makes you think that the fact they are isn't such a bad thing afterall.

Bloody hell! If I went to something like that, I wouldn't be accepting the artic drivers excuse that he didn't feel it! Thats been a fair impact!

hmm, t-cut will help, but you're definatly gonna need a hammer, some gaffer tape and some WD40 first.

Truck could easily not notice, especially as it was in the blind spot:smt119

I could easily believe not

As I said in the other thread, I watched an artic push a car sideways ~6ft because the driver had moved into it's blind spot while he was changing lanes in stationary traffic...

T-cut!?
Bunch of amateurs, can you not see all the dents?!

He'll need some plastic padding and a little bit of fibre glass repair to get the surface perfect. Then just get Halfords to touch the paint up.

No? :D

He wont have.. 40 tonnes v a 206.. not a chance,

My dad had two instances of this and he accepted liability as he could do nothing else.

Sounds way over the top mate.

Hammers, lots of them, of all different sizes will do the trick.

Just like Father Ted did really. Just go easy and you could end up with it looking as good as this..

I believe the items you need are called in the trade, hammers, dollys and slappers.

I was a warehouse manager back in the day and just as a truck was reversing onto the loading dock I had a plain clothed police officer shouting in my face!!!

Took me a while to understand that the driver of said lorry had just side swiped the unmarked car he was driving!!! Had slightly cut the corner off the roundabout and dragged half his trailer down the side of the police car. The driver didn't have a clue he'd done it.
