Following on from Wolfies Xmas Anyone thread I thought I'd put up a date poll. I proposed Fri 4/12, but that seems a little awkward for some.
The Plan:
Xmas Curry Night HERE (http://www.fareham.gov.uk/discover_local_area/visiting/where_to_eat/cafetusk.aspx)
Indian Buffet, apx £11pp. Not necessarily the most central though.
Dates as above. If it works out better to get together at another time, please suggest this in the thread.
Poll will close on Friday the 13th....

Oh yeah I realise that but personally I don't go into each section. I use "New Posts" and "Realtime Postspy". With so many posts every day its easy to miss something unless you specifically look for it.
Back to the thread it would be lovely to come and meet up with you guys. As said before I have pencilled it in for me & Mr Amanda aka Chris.

Any chance you can make it a bit later, I've got no chance in hell of getting there for 7pm when I dont finish work till 5:30...
To be honest its a good 2hr drive from here... and on Friday nights the traffic can be sh*te... I've struggled to get down there for 8pm before.

No problemo - I've changed the booking to 8pm. There's a small bar in there or The Varsity pub about 4 doors away if people turn up early.

As before I'm going to be in town that morning for work so no problems for me...
Without wanting to be too cheeky, does anyone in PO/Soton have a spare floor I could kip on? I'll bring a sleeping bag and pillow, just need a space...

Couch, floor or king size airbed at ours if it helps.
Laminate floor, sofa or the kids bunk beds (they won't be there) at mine. I will be up early on Saturday though. I live in waterlooville. About 15 minutes from Fareham and the same to the Portsmouth ferry.

Sounds like a plan, I'd say do lunch but by the time we've faffed it's going to be ~15:00 anyway and a bit late, I'll probably be hungry though so if you fancy a light bit of food let's meet somewhere:cool:

i clock off at 3:30 and it only takes me 5 mins to make myself look presentable so im up for some swift ones beforehand

Yeah Its a done deal I/Mr will drive. There is no point coming on the bikes and then neither of us drinking. I will bring the SAAB and you can arrive in style for a change Gav. LOL

Cool, where's the restaurant we're eating at? If it's close to yours it might be an idea to meet there after I finish so I can lose the bike kit and we can make a plan from there?
The resturant is 10 minutes in the car from ours. One of us will be driving, or we could do a taxi, so come to ours and we'll go from there.

if i remember rightly there is one behind the cafe nero which slap bang centre of Fareham oposit shopping centre, i guessing that the curry house is near?
There is a big carpark right near the Indian. There are a couple of pubs near as well. Most of them are ****in awful, but the Vanguard is OK for a couple of drinks.
I won't be there till about 7:45 to 8. I'll give someone a bell to check where you are.

Car park number 12 is the one you want.

To get to the car park entrance you want the third exit on the r/about next to car park 12 above. Then at the next mini r/about turn right.
Pub/Resturant - From Car Park 12 head north towards the shopping centre and precinct via the middle walkway. The Vangaurd is on the left corner as you reach the precinct. The resturant is along the precinct to the right and just across the road(the one that cuts inbetween car parks 11 and 12).

Last minute change of plans. Liz has got TA this weekend and I said I'd help my friend move on Saturday.
Dogs are fine :cool:, sure we'll cach up with you guys soon.
Not sure about that... I'll have to see.
Table is booked for 8pm.

Yes, Very muchly and a bit trollied but just a bit!! Not my usual standard which is probably a good thing on my first proper .org meet. lol
