Mirrored lid

I thought I saw an advert in a mag a few months back showing a completely mirrored lid - no markings on it at all. I've just had a look and can't find it tho - does anyone know if anyone does do a completely mirrored lid?

I know i saw one of these a couple of years ago, no idea who made em tho. Its simply a chromed finish all over iirc.

craft do some of their helmets in some kind of mirror finish.

Only problem I can see is that they are damned inconsiderate.

Imagine following someone with the sun behind you both, but being reflected off the back of their lid, right into your eyes.

SK: I can't imagine they would be allowed to sell it if there was risk of blinding people. Think of chrome trim on most cars - that would do the same, and that's not really a big issue.

The black or white ones are much nicer. I have a black one with black visor under the bed. Belongs to my ex. He loves them and has had a couple over the years. They go great with the VRaptor, makes the rider look like a right hard t**t:smt077

BTW Craft helmets have been going for years in this design. He had a white one before the black, and that was when I met him some 8 years ago.

I saw some Craft lids at the NEC on one of the stalls, and much as I like the black and white ones very much....there was this really minging mirrored one!

In all fairness it looked shoite!
