I know its sad, but im really peed off with tedward still being kept in on x factor.
Simon had chance to get rid, but just confirms my theory on a conspiracy as they get loads of publicity in the papers.
That girl was a very good singer and they are ****.

This is turning out to be an abolute fix. What a joke. Those boys are a pair of tubes and are completely talentless. I am raging!!

mr cowell knows the game... keep them in... keep the votes and the viewership up and hey presto he has the money rolling in..

for weeks he been slaggin them off saying only an audience of 1 1/2 year olds would appreciate them............. then he hands them a golden ticket?? :smt009

It amuses me when stuff like this happens on the telly, everyone feels they need to update their facebook statuses at the same time. I hear all the "major" news via facebook these days  :-P

On Xtra Factor he is trying to say he didn't think Lucy would go, he thought she would have won the public vote - LIE, LIE, LIE! He knew damn well those wee tools would get through.

It's a joke. No wonder we are in a recession when Britain can't even run a talent show properly!

It's the same situation as John Sergeant in the dance program.

He knew he wasn't as good as the others, but he got voted to stay by the public because he was ENTERTAINING. He chose to leave because he felt it was unfair. The BBC seriously misunderstood how the public think if they thought talent would win over popularity.

The sooner people realise that these shows are all about entertainment, rather than talent the sooner people will stop getting ****ed because someone who can't sing is still in.

Simon Cowell knows exactly what he is doing and who should 'win'. He and the others are looking for someone to make a quick buck from...and the twins would be the ideal candidates for a novelty christmas single.

It may well be Simon Cowell's show and money maker but it was Lucie Jones's life and dreams he was playing with. I do agree she may not be good enough to win the show, but to lose to those monkeys on a tactical vote is just soul destroying. Simon should be ashamed of himself.

What I don't get is why people are actually getting their backs up about it. It's a TV. Don't let the TV wash your mind.

As for Facebook, don't get me started.

Somebody said to me this morning, the program is all about singing...Wow, how boring would it be if it was just a singer, no entertainment, which is what these kids are, entertaining. Lighten up you sad old farts!

I do agree with what Viper said though, Lucie has great boobies!

Very true. But they should have some modicum of singing talent and those two quite plainly cant sing. Once the novelty value of them has worn off I cant see them having a music career.

Mind you I suspect as said above. Cowell is looking for somebody to make a quick buck out of. No doubt the people he thinks are decent will already have a record contract ready for them to sign once the show is over...

So were you one of the sad young people who bought the cheeky girls single?? :smt020 It is about giving people who have the talent to the spotlight. These boys have zero talent and their continuity will be very limited after the show has finished.

Fair enough that Lucy was in the bottom 2 this week, there will ultimately be only one winner but to go head to head with the boys and still lose is a joke!!

All the acts which reach the live finals sign a contract which takes them on the live tour, so for the next 8 months they are all fully paid performers either way (or if your JLS and refuse to sign on to it/buy out of it).
Its only a guess but I recon, Simon knew Lucie was starting to get good, and as it stands his 3 boys are the 3 finalists. If Lucie continues to get more confident and even better then she puts his full house final chances at risk. He knew the twins wouldnt have the lowest votes, so got rid of Lucie and boom bye bye biggest threat.
Now Ollie, Danyl and Jamie can all out perform; Lloyd, J+E and Stacie so the final is pretty much Simons.
J+E I think will go next week, they need to leave the show before the teenybopper fans get board and so that a novelty single can be released. Then after that the twins will just be a male version of the cheeky girls. Switching on x-mas lights for years to come, but doing nothing much else.

Either way, Danyl to win. ;)

It's Cowell's hypocrisy that gets me. He says he'll judge them on their performance on the night, then does the opposite. IMO Lucie was the best singer in the competition and I'm gutted for her.

Obviously keeping those two jokers in the pack keeps up the controversy, keeps the competition in the tabloid headlines and makes Cowell more money. I think longer term he's shooting himself in the foot by spouting about it being a true talent contest then deliberately turning the show into a joke to make a fast buck. Disappointed with Danni Minogue - she should have taken the opportunity to give Cowell a right dressing-down when she was asked to comment by Dermot.

I know what you mean, but the judges have to be careful too. Its simon's show, you try to get one over on him adn you get sharron'd

Got to confess I used to quite enjoy the Xfactor (recorded with availability of fast forward button) Think it was the "Someone good getting better" or the someone potentially good getting good sort of thing.

This year seems mediocre and deteriorating

Can't be bothered with it TBH. Too old.

My sentiments entirely :smt001 (apart from liking Cheryl Cole - I'm not a fan personally ;))

Simon Cowell seemingly has a hidden agenda (goodness knows what though!) as it was the chance he was waiting for (and the rest of us) for him to out them and he didn't! wtf!!

The simple answer is £££££££££££££:D:D:D

My other half watches it and occasionally I have to sit through it.

SC doesn't give a rats ass about whether they have careers or not, it's all about money, and he's making plenty!

Fair play to him.:)

Chico has really made it. He's starring as 'Aladdin' in the panto in Darlington this year, alongside 'Darlington's favourite', the 'Grumbleweeds'.

I used to enjoy the auditions but then as soon as things became serious I got bored. At the end of the day its an entertainment program. If this Lucy is as good as people keep saying she is then some agent somewhere will have seen her perform and she'll pick a record deal up easy enough. To be honest, is being known as the "winner" of one of these reality shows all that good a thing anyway? Thanks to the show they might have one decent chart topping album which has only got to the top because all the people who originally voted have gone and bought the album. Next time they release new material people will have forgotten about them and will be too busy getting hooked on the new contenders for the title in the next series.

All a con if ya ask me, if you've got talent you've got it, noone can take it away from you and someone will want to make use of it somewhere.
