She has just done a opthalmic science foundation degree ??? eye related.
Im not academic so doesnt mean a lot to me, but she wants to do further now, masters ultimately.
Im very proud of her because working full time, (1 day off from work to go to college), looking after me etc it was hard work.
I helped a little bit with the maths and powerpoint presentations :D

congratulations to her :D there is a lecturer here at Kingston University who has alot of knowledge about contact lense materials, should your wife ever need some discussion about that sort of thing.

Cheers for that,
She actually works in a technical role already, but doesnt do the contact lense stuff, its more field tests, photography, diagnosis etc.
She is surrounded by some of the top people in the country, so is learning from some of the best.
I think eventually she would like to lecture as she enjoys training / helping others less experienced.
