Bless me father for I have sinned...
Replaced the clutch slave cylinder on the ADV, preventative maintenance stopping it from stranding me in the mountains in Jan or Morocco later next year
It was available in all manner of colours but I couldn't resist the fact that Oberon were offering KTM Orange as an option:cool:

Clutch on the SV is cable operated, not hydraulic so no need for a slave cylinder...
Oberon do other bits of very nice bling though...

Mine are CRGs, but essentially the same thing. They DO actually make a difference as well. Lot more comfortable and easier for me to reach when you have little hands.

Yep, that's why I bought my Pazzo's, flick to adjust the clutch when lots of filtering to be done, flick back out for playtime!

How much was it? I've spoken to my local dealer and he said it was on the older model (pre-2007) but I may change it anyway if it's not to dear.
Cheers Mark.

I have recently had the dull grey side panels of my SV painted with the same design as my favourite tattoo and only last week I fitted a shiny Stainless Bolt kit I got from Chewy's site. :smt118
Carol has talked about a polishing kit in the new year and doing the heel plates and lever blades to a mirror finish.
I also want to fit some mini indicators to the rear to match the front and then comes the big change. Get rid of the clip ons and fit a riser bar. Now that will be expensive and no doubt it will be difficult, but it is planned. Just need to get promoted and earn some spending cash. :smt065
How much was it?
He wouldn't know

£90 + P&P - About as cheap as you'll get in the UK...
The post 2007 cylinders are just as bad, just that there's not enough people got to high enough mileages yet to show an overwhelming trend
They'll go at anywhere from 10,000m up, best to keep one handy, or, like me, do it pre-emptively and sell the stock one to someone who doesn't care about the known issue
On the SD it's more of a conundrum whether to do it pre-emptively or not, if your clutch goes I'd imagine you're likely to be in the UK? With my bike I'll be doing Germany and Morocco, possibly by April next year, which'll put the mileage well over 20,000 - I don't want to be switching cylinders in the atlas mountains using goat's blood for clutch fluid...

Normally that wouldn't bother me...
But when it comes from someone who really knows their cheap and nasty tat it's more serious...

well I have clocked up 1,000 mile so far on it, and that's not a lot of money, so when I lay the bike up for the "salt period" I may do that, I also plan a number of euro trips next year, did you buy it direct/ got a link ?

now to choose colour......?, the orange does shout, look at me I'm a shiney bit, but it's nice, and like yours I've orange highlights on the bike which it'd pickup on.
Or do I go for something less "in your face"?
I'll think on it, but will order one.

only whilst in Superduke mode though, and I think it'll end up with far to many miles to ever be a true tart bike after all isn't it the ratio of miles to cleaning/polishing that really counts :smt102
Oh and of course the sheer panic that rain induces..........:smt082

For why?
From the Alaska Leather website:
Sheepskin is a natural product that works like magic. Often used in medical applications to prevent bedsores, it keeps your "buttbones" from burning and is cool in the summer, warm in cold weather, reduces sweating, and keeps the bitch factor down. It's easy on - easy off, there are no moving parts, it has a universal fit, it is not affected by rain, and you can use it to wipe bugs off your windshield or as a pillow for camping! Even more, its affordable.
@Speedplay, looks like mine on the right...;)

They wouldn't sell thousands if it didn't;)
Put it this way
Stock ADV seat = Sitting on an upholstered fence
Renazco = Comfy car seat
Renazco + Sheepskin = Sitting on the sofa (and I have a badass comfy sofa)

It comes ready to fit with sewn in elasticated straps, on hooks over the nose of the seat and the other has quick releases that sit near the back of the pad - holds in rock steady when you move around on the seat...
lol @ "Stay" - My border collie doesn't know what to make of it, she spent most of the day sniffing the package until I got home and she eyes it warily when it's in the room, like it's about to run away and require herding back into line;)
