Hi folks, how we all doing?

I passed my test at the start of the year and bought myself a W reg curvy SV650 naked, pics from the Carron Valley reservoir below.

bikes great fun, knackered the female thread for the offside wingmirror though, any suggestions where to get the brake lever clamp part by itself?

I'll hopefully get out for a run sometime, not hugely confident on the bike yet though as I'm still learning. I work in the trade for a well known Scottish chain lubrication specialist ;)

Cheers for the comments and welcome, yes I work in Milngavie been with Scottoiler for 5 years now, not long back from the EICMA show in Milan, not as glamorous as it sounds...

No freebies I'm afraid, but any queries feel free to send them my way here or on the Scottoiler forum. Have looked into doing group buys in the past but too time consuming, we prefer to sell through the wholesale and dealer network so anyone interested in group buys we'd send to fowlers / m&p / bradbury brothers etc probably. Outwith my control!

Just ordered a fenda extenda :D

White wheels look good briefly but are a royal pain in the **** to keep clean!

Welcome - and you admit to be in Milngavie - poor you ( honest i have NOTHING to do with EDC)

I'm from Bearsden acually but I like my grub so I stay in Glasgow as the old spam was getting to be too much ;)

The bike lives outside which is why the white wheels get manky, the Scottoiler has little to do with it, when used properly there's no significant mess.

Anyway I don't want to sound like a walking advert so I'll shut up before admin think I'm taking the p_ _ _.

Cheers again, no idea what make the tail tidy is I'm afriad, or the hugger they were on it when I bought it. Quite fancy a buell headlight and flyscreen and a high level can. I have a Pyramid plastics seat cowl to fit too but it needs painted first.

cheers folks, I was thinking of painting it myself actually will be good to hone my (lack of) skills.

Any idea what the Suzuki blue was called in 2000? I know there's a lighter tone out there too, possibly from 1999?

Look in your service book, V5, or under the tank, it will state the colour code their.

Someone else's words, not mine, hope that help.

Well this is a blast from the past, I sold the bike, changed jobs a couple of times bought a house with garage and bought the bike back again. Just ordered the buell lightning twin headlight and flyscreen, also opportunisticly bought a private plate for it "W33 BYK" needs an mot before I can transfer the plate though.
