I'm actually going camping this weekend on my push bike. Yes, I did say camping in November. Only for one night mind. Plenty of alcohol will be required to substitute for central heating - I'm keeping warm tramp styleeee!
Back on topic, I was up for last weekend, so would really like to do another one at some point. Dec / Jan are busy but after that then cool.

Oh, and if we are thinking about actual camping there is always my farm in Worcestershire.
Alcohol thins the blood and lowers body temp.
When you are P1shed being cold is less bothersome.
Here endeth my thought for the day.
TVSF Christmas party. In tents on Philbutts farm. "Intents"
Can we have fireworks?
Can we make our own?
Can we have a towering inferno?
All these questions and more....
oops - see a hitch.....

Er yes, if you supply the gun powder....but we do have a number of shot guns and a large barn full of fertiliser...hmmmm
Nomination 3: MEXICO
Mexico rocks.
Let's go to Mexico and drink Tequila.

That's a long way to go to get pi$$ed. The ride over would also be a bit difficult to cram into a weekend.

Mexico sounds awesome! However, if we keep the TVSF christmas **** up in the UK, the I really really really want it to be INDOORS if that is ok! ;).
Looking with interest but not expecting I will be able to attend.

I will be at Goodwood no matter what. Tis an excellent event.
I did Goodwood this year, had a great day out. Can't do next year though as it clashes with the World Cup final and so I'll be working.
I know. And the World Cup goes on for a month. The third-place play-off is on the Saturday and the final is on the Sunday. That only leaves the Friday, when I'd be working anyway.
I'm having to pull some strings to score a week off for the TT and that's before the tournament even starts.
That sucks. FOS is way more exciting than the crappy world cup.
I've never been and would like to very much. So long as it doesn't fall on a weekend I have the kids, I'll go.
It's the weekend of the 11th of July, iirc.
It's the weekend of the 11th of July, iirc.
it's the weekend before that
Ah. Has that changed or something?
Looks like the Sunday is a rest day with no matches, so as long as I'm in the right country, I might be able to do it.
from fos website:
The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed is provisionally scheduled to take place over the weekend of 2-4 July, subject to final confirmation of the rest of the motor sport calendar.
