New rear tyre recommendations

I need to change my rear tyre (2007) pointy. Just use the bike for weekend rideouts and a little touring in the summer. Any reccomendations?

General consensus seems to be Avon Storm or Bridgestone BT-021s I think!

+1 For the Storms. Got them on my SV and i will be fitting them to my Firestorm when the old ones wear out.

metzlers are a great tyre but I've heard that Avon Storms are too.

The stock metzlers are carp, dont know what the new ones are like. Anyone?

avon storms here, used em on plenty of bikes with big power, there a great tyre:D
