Got some people staying over. What do I need to get in for breakfast? :???:
Can't get bacon - they're veggies
Can't get eggs - they keep chickens, so likely to be scorned upon.

:smt102:

How can I subtly hint that they bring their own eggs? :D

ask if they wanna do a taste test with some of their eggs vs some shop bought free range one.

And if they are veggies... muesli? Pancakes? Porridge? Cheesy beans on toast? Croissants? Linda Mcartney sausages (never tried them but he burgers were ok)

haha, they were ideas mate. I never eat brekkie myself. Except for the very occasional lazy sunday.
People who stay at mine get cereal, coco pops if they are really lucky.

Stu...make fluffy pancakes and serve with maple syrup or fruit compote. Fruit compote is easy...just get a pack of frozen berries or forest fruits from the supermarket, empty the contens in a pan, add a tablespoon sugar and a tablespoon water and put on a medium heat til they have broken down a bit and there's a nice syrup. You can even pop a split vanilla pod in there if you want to be fancy.

You can make the pancakes with them there if they bring their own eggs, otherwise just buy free range organic. Let me know if you want the recipe...it's on here somewhere.

If you do get bread make sure its made with Vegi alternative.

At least 90 per cent of loaves are made with additives which could include enzymes from the pancreas of pigs.

A true vegi would not be happy about that...

How about Apple & Cinnamon breakfast muffins with coffee and juice or a fruit smoothie?
