Multi-bike may be the answer - you can only ride one at a time...

Well, we've got the CBR on laid up insurance...I'll check with Stretchie which insurer as it took me a while to find them, but was £34 for the year covering fire and theft and I think still 3rd party as well.

oo wicked cheryl.. that is the kind of thing I am looking for.. £30 to £50 sounds ok.. to insure it comp for me to ride is only £134 cos I am old.. but its not taxed.. so just under £200 to insure a £4K bike for a year with the tax then I could ride it if I want to.. and its insured for fire or theft too..

but I dont want to ride it and want it just SORN and insured for fire n theft..

When I had my GSXR and SV, I added my SV to my GSXR's insurance policy, cost me £20 admin fee.

Have you looked into doing something like that, might work out cheaper ?

Know nothing about 2 bikes but, when I was recovering from the man flu and had the bike sorn'd for a year there was only £3 a month difference between fully comp and fire n theft, needless to say i kept it fc.

me with bennetts- with the vfr.. they said they do multi policy but I have to end this one and start a new one with 2 bikes on.. might be worth a call if it only 30 to 40 quid difference .. then the tax of course. and take it off sorn..

if it aint taxed then insurance is null n void aint it ?

just worried if the shed sets fire and 4k up in smoke.. or it gets nicked.. if I goin to sit on it until march ish

I added my KTM to my Daytona policy for next to nothing.

Multi bike is the way to go.

Give your insurer a call and see what adding it to your policy will do, you may be as suprised as I was:)

Another one for multibike policy. Carol Nash for me. Mind you I use one or the other, and both are always taxed..for that just in case moment when one blows up.....again!..but in general one of them is usually laid up for 3 months at a time.
