I can't levitate things, so will never be a proper god.
P.S. My favourite part of the test is typing my email address in in order to find out the test results. ;)

The number could mean very different results on different tests...
This thread made me dig out my old Mensa supervised test results from 2002, turned out I'm 143 on the Cattell B scale and 124 on the Culture Fair scale - I'd been scoring ~5pts higher on the internet based tests taken around the same time...
121 - extremely hungover and missed the last 9 questions.

Alright Wolfy. You don't have to prove anything to us. We know you are the smartest thing to ever hit the org. :D

Hah!
I doubt it, if there's say 1000 regular members, I'm in the upper 3% of the average UK population, so there's likely to be ~25 members who have a higher score

I think I will keep quiet on this one.
Dont want to come across as too superior if you know what I mean?
Nor as a complete t0sser if you know what I mean?
Anyway, they must have used negative marking to get my score.

awww shucks :)
Lol.
Well I don't believe in any form of IQ testing that comes out with,
Albert Einstein (160), Mozart (165)
with James Woods (180) and Sharon Stone (154)!..lol!
Incidentally, Ronald Reagan, 105, haha!

In my experience IQ means very little in terms of success
After all, look at anyone who works in management...
;)
True TLW. I've seen a fair few "geniuses" with doctorates falling out of every crevace, and with apparantly high IQs get the sack at my place as they were unbelievably ****e at performing simple tasks.
not even about success, but the measurement of 'IQ' itself!
Is James Woods really smarter than Einstein and Mozart?
Is Mozart really smarter than Einstein?
Is Einstein only 6 more units ahead in intelligence than Sharon Stone?
And wot is intelligence...Musical, mathematical, visuo-spatial?
IQ's test are bit of fun I guess, and they end there I suppose!

Unless your doing a mensa or an officially recognised test, dont believe your score. Everytime this comes up on a forum most scores posted are way above average, so either everyones a lying *******, they aren't doing an official test under test conditions or i just happen to be constantly bumping into geniuses online.
As said in a previous post, intelligence is useless if you dont know how to use it properly.

115 but I went to make a tea during it, didnt realise it was against the clock and it binned me after 21 or 22 questions
Personalized IQ report for Richie !
Your age adjusted IQ score is 120 and the average score of all test takers is 100.
Your IQ score is the result of a formula based on the number of questions answered correctly on the test. This score has been further adjusted to account for the differences in capabilities among various age groups.
Load of rubbish I'm well thick me.

Again the problem with 'officially' recognised tests are that there are a few of them, and ultimately, what are they testing?
If you wanted to compare heights/weights/blood pressures of people etc, you have a definitive value that comes out, and there is no disputing it.
If everyone in the world was to do the Mensa test, it would probably correlate to intelligence to an extent, but it is not definite...and then what does one even mean by intelligence?
The brain and intelligence is far too complicated for a one off 2 hour test that produces a number at the end, which labels how 'clever' you are. I think ultimately, the problem with IQ test is that they will only assess an aspect of potential intellectual capabilites.
I believe the line between talent and intelligence is hard to distinguish. Mozart, talent or genius? Einstein, talent or genius? Pele, talent or genius? And I guess you could go on with that list endlessly.
There are people that can solve a rubix cube in seconds. Then you have grandmaster chess players. To think one form of measurement called an 'IQ' test, official or not, can distinguish and filter out the clever from the less so is nuts...
...but then that's why such little importance is given to IQ in the real world. It's achievement that matters. I'd rather fly in space than join mensa! Sadly, I'm prob not smart enough for the former, lol!

Just logged 156 - I've done a few recently - tried to vary it between early morning, late night and then after 5 beers.
Its been between 152-160 depending on conditions. Very sad YES - but wanted to be a human scientific experiment

126 is what i got, which is around about what I've acheived on other such "intelligence" tests. Somewhat above average, but really not by much
Good ol' average A*hero :salut:
134... not bad for a manager, eh Wolfie.
Considering my school results were poor, followed by poor college results and a general low boredom thresh hold (read can't be ar5ed) I'm happy with where I'm at.
English - D
Maths - D
Physics - D
History - D
Geog - D
German - U.G.
All at O Level - GCSE to all you young 'uns. And how I got thro' college??
ha ha ha I win woohoo
