good choice...
a great choice would be the new hypermotard :D
Not practical enough. A mate has one and rode it to France, he reckons he was almost crippled after 3 hours on it, plus the constant fuel stops pee'd him off

At least you won't get pedestrians walking out in front of you for fear of being impaled!

I did consider one of these as they are quiet nice to ride (took the 1000DS out), but they are definately challenged in the looks department, and whilst you don't see it when riding, you do when getting on the bike.
New one is better, but stilll not my cup of tea.
Cheers Mark.
ive been drooling over it myself
i think it looks great but the seat height is the only thing putting me off, that and the price

I really like it other than that big plastic beak and nostrils!

Mark - I currently ride a Versys, looks aren't a factor.

You have one too?
I'm not tired of mine at all, it does everything I need/want of a motorcycle and has exceeded my expectations. I just love the look of the Ducati and wouldn't mind a little more grunt. It looks like I'll be in the market for one in a little over 2 years time, can't afford to swop bike yet.

Yeah I have one also (09', black). As good as it is at most things (outstanding around-town bike imo) I get a bit tired of it on the motorways. It needs just that little bit more oomph.
first time ive seen this bike... its kinda pretty looking in a strange sort of way... i like it

I like these, They are mahosive probably as big as a BMW GS.
I'd definatly try one if I were in the market for a soft-roader / tourer.
