help with restrictor

hello everyone
i am new to the sv forum and the sv bike
i am 17 an have recently passed my test and i want to restrict my bike myself rather than paying £200 to get it fitted
does anyone know where the restrictor goes (exhaust, throttle, carb?) and what it is that restricts it (washers?) ?
if any fellow riders can help it would be much appreciated :D

What year is your bike?

If its a K3 onwards get the ECU.

Yes. I used those dimensions an had them made up by a local engineer and fitted myself when I collected the bike. Quite simple to do.

i have the restrictor washers for a carb model in my garage somewhere if you want them?

Just be carefull and dont drop anything into the engine! While you have everyhting uncovered, why not service the bike - new plugs, new air filter, oil and oil filter change :)
