white bikes

I never intended to get one and yet ended up with one as it was stunning when I saw it "in the flesh" so to speak, however Quiff's thread and others have shown a fair few hanker after the "white" version of certain bike.

My old GS is white and I wanted white for the new one, but had to settle for silver. I have found that a big white bike is better noticed by cagers. White bike + white helmet viewed at a distance looks like a cop, so people pay more attention and behave themselves. Cops also seem to pay less attention to white bikes. It doesn't scream hoon or violent biker (bikers are getting a pounding in the media atm) in what is a bike unfriendly society.

The white is one of the reasons that I got my current gixxer in fact. Just sad that they're becoming all 'common' now :roll: :lol:

predominately white I think is acceptable, so highlight colours are fine, duel or tri coloured isn't really.

The 848 is just sex!
The gsxr looks miles better than the others (black or standard) and there are fewer about.
The KTM is again sex with wheels on it.

Ive had all colours of bikes but white is the worst dos'nt go with winter roads .after 200 mls last week down country lanes mine turned steaky grey,might have been an inprovement but had to wash it.

Much nicer in the Rizla colours FastDruid. I'm not much for white bikes but I do think the R6 looks stunning in white. The BMW's look 'right' in white too. I'd pick a black bike over a white one anyday.

Yeh would have one, I think the K5 onwards SV would look good in white with the black frame.

Uncle has a 990 also, that looks fantastic in white.

I have contemplated going White with my bike (as it needs a spray job...) but im not liking a sort of graphite gray, I particularly like the colour that the Lambo LP550-2 was painted on top gear, the one with the air balloon caravan. LOL
