yes there crap.....either the controller is at fault(known fault) or the right grip element is faulty( another known fault).....ive had both problems with oxford grips in the past....if poss take em back and swop??...if old remove/check all conections etc...if bust buy new...im using dr bike ones at mo and there toasty;)
I've had no problems with mine ....
Chances are its just one of the connectors ... if you've got a circuit tester thats the easy way to tell.... if not disconnect them, re-connect, connect other side ... generally try to work out where the circuit stops working ....

Firstly, check the connection hasnt corroded. You can plug the grip straigh into the lead that goes to the battery, or perhaps bridge some connection to acheive the same effect. Clean the connectors out with some WD40, something to scratch the contacts then clear the wd40 residue away with electrical contact cleaner. If that dosnt work, then try making a permanent connection.
I am at the conclusion that my right sided heated grip (throttle side) has terminally failed, which is all I can think of being the problem after doing the above.
Good luck, let us know how you get on.
