One of my least favourite Rossi reps tbh Ed. And the price is pretty normal for a Rossi rep.
Wait a year and it'll be £299, they hardly ever sell em all. My local Hein Gericke still has a few from about 3yrs ago on their shelf.
I had a 'I don't be-leeeeeeeve it' moment when I saw how hideous it is. Why anyone would want an ass on their lid defeats me.

Theres a story behind it. its got something to do with him taking the mick out of himself after falling during a race.
If you are a Rossi fan, its probably cool, but personally I dont like it.
As for the price, I think that may be the top spec AGV lid ? If so then it compars with the price I paid for My Arai RX7 quite well...

The reason was, he fell of in Indianapolis (sp?), and his first thought was 'What a Donkey'. He had in his usual lettering instead of 'The Doctor', 'The Donkey'.
I like it. Different. And I'm a big Shrek fan!

I like Rossi.
For certain he knows how to ride a bike. :riding:
He carries on a lot but he can laugh at himself as well. :clown:
And only rossi could get away with having donkey themed ride gear and still be cool. :cool:
All that being said, this lid looks :pukel:

Love this one. :rolleyes: They still had some in a local shop to me, even about two years after it came out. Think the price was £420 ish. Still wouldn't fork out for one though.

Race replicas are okay as long as you're wearing it because it aesthetically looks good, which some do. But you can't pretend to be the rider who wore the helmet for the first time, you can't pretend to be sponsored, you can't pretend to be making the same statement, because you just look like an idiot.
If you think a helmet looks better with a farm animal on it, go and buy some stickers from the early learning centre, the notion will probably wear off before the stickers do.
